Neat pictures, Triston. So Manisha and Sammy are Jaya and your's. How are each a part of the family. I had thought you have two children.
Hope you're warmer there than we are here; I imagine you are. My fingers are cold as I type.

Manisha is my Niece, as is Deepa. They are both the daughters of Jaya's two oldest sisters.
It's starting to get chilly here. It's probably much warmer than where you are, except we don't have heat, which makes it feel colder.

Snowing and just downright cold here. Treacherous on the roads south of here.
Hey Ted,
We don't get snow in Kathmandu--well hardly ever. We had about a 1/4 inch of snow on Feb. 14th a couple years ago. It was the first time in 62 years!!!
The temp. rarely hits freezing, though it does get very close, and it rarely ever rains in the winter, so that combines for "no snow". We get about 100 inches of rain each year between June to Sept., the monsoon season. It sounds really cold where you are!!! But a friend from northern Canada visited me one winter and it felt colder to him here than where he was from--because again we don't have heat. It makes it feel much colder than it actually is.
I guess that means you have to keep warm under blankets, and keep each other warm. That's what we do here to conserve energy. Deb made me a nice afghan that keeps me warm quite well.

Great Pics, T. It's good to see everyone. I recognize the setting in the last picture :) Were you able to stay there?
Hi Dave: We wanted to take a ride up to Nagarkot because the girls had wanted to go (and you me, Sam and Dan went twice, but they never got to go), so we took a ride up there in the car. I wanted Jaya to see that hotel we stayed at and the view so I could talk her in to staying there sometime in the future. We just had lunch that day, hung out a bit, drove up to the tower and then headed home. It's a Great place and location!
