Samuel Turns Two Months Old!

Our big boy is getting bigger! Samuel is so much more alert now, and he's a very happy baby too. He hardly ever cries unless somethign is actually wrong. He has brought joy to our house everyday. What a gift of God he is to us.

BTW: We plan to hold Samuel's dedication at our house on September 15th. You are welcome to attend (though we know Kathmandu, Nepal is probably a long hike from where you live!)

Jaya looks even more beautiful, and Samuel is one handsome boy!

You still look the same Triston.
Bro, I wish I could be there.

Joshua, who is 8 years old is going to Baptized next week. I'm pretty excited about that. He is such a blessing.
And Baptism, though has nothing to do with our salvation, is a sacrament/ordination that is required of all Christians.
Greg compared it to our wedding rings.
Our rings are dear to us, not because of the ring, but becasue of what it signifies.

Dedications, are very similar. But not the same as Baptism. I ook forward to the day when I here you announce Samuel's Baptism. Maybe I'll be able to make it over on that day.

BTW, It's great the Fonzer, and his two sons are coming over.

All for Jesus.

Oh how fun it would be to be there with you! He is adorable - and I do think he has the most remarkable mixture of you and Jaya in his face! How very fun!

Luther he is wonderful and so handsome. What a little beauty! If I was anywhere near Katmandu then I would come. Actually I will just have got back from a retreat in Scotland with one of my daughters and preparing for a sailing holiday with my husband! Never mind though, I will think about him and light a candle for him.
Love Lorenzo.

Don,
We wish you could make it too, bro., but not just for the dedication. We'd love for you to be able to visit us here in Nepal anytime. We pray it will happen someday.

Susan,
You're right. Samuel is adorable! Everyone tells us how handsome he is, and I don't believe it is merely because we are his parents that we agree. He's a Cutie—a keeper.

Lorenzo,
Thanks! Hey, I hope you have a good time on your sailing holiday. I love the water. I think I miss that more than anything else. Growing up on the Chesapeake Bay, my parents, Grand parents and several uncles all had boats, motorboats, but still there is something about open water that is so peaceful and refreshing. I miss it. Nepal is a landlocked country, so not much open water here. Have a great time!
